Calm Down Fast

A short break, with something simple to do.

Some days you feel tense. Sometimes you cannot settle before bed. Or you have spent hours at a screen and want a break. Calm Down Fast gives you a small exercise to follow on your phone.

What you do

Choose how you feel, open an exercise, and follow what you see. You might copy a hand movement, follow a shape with your eyes, or take a few slow breaths. Go at a pace that feels comfortable.

The app keeps the next step clear. You do not need to learn a long routine or have any experience with meditation.

On your phone

The Android app is available now. Two exercises are free. You can open the full set with one purchase. There is no monthly payment, no account to create, and no ads.

The iPhone app is being prepared. It is not available in the App Store yet. A download link will be added here when it is released.

Two tools for Chrome

Quick Calm and Screen Rest are two Chrome extensions in the Calm Down Fast family, both available in the Chrome Web Store. Each has its own website and focuses on a smaller set of exercises.

Breathing & focus

Quick Calm

For a pause during a busy day. Follow a breathing guide or take a moment to notice the things around you.

Eye exercises & break reminders

Screen Rest

For a break from the screen. Look into the distance, follow a gentle eye movement, or close your eyes for a short pause. You can also turn on reminders to take a break.

My work on the project

I built the mobile app, the service behind it, and the websites for Calm Down Fast, Quick Calm, and Screen Rest. I am also working on the iPhone release.

These are everyday exercises, not medical care. Stop if an exercise feels uncomfortable.
